THE PHOENIX PROGRAM

The Phoenix Program, Early Intervention for Psychosis Service

The Phoenix Program Early Intervention Service for Psychosis is a clinical partnership between Joseph Brant Hospital, Halton Healthcare Services, North Halton Mental Health Clinic, Halton ADAPT and the Schizophrenia Society of  Ontario that provides comprehensive clinical services for individuals  in their first episode of psychosis.

 

Services Include:

  • Psychiatric assessment and treatment

  • Case management, group and individual counselling

  • Addictions counselling

  • Peer support

  • Family education and support

  • Public education

Eligibility

Individuals between the ages of 14 to 35 years old who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis and who have received either no previous treatment or 6 months or less of treatment for psychosis and who live in the Region of Halton
